Most graduate to Dunkin Donuts around age 13.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eIf you go into a Dunkin Donuts in RI and ask for your coffee “extra extra”, that’s the shorthand for “extra cream, extra sugar”, and yes it’s as gross\/delicious as it sounds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eFrozen Lemonade: This is basically a slushie that is lemonade flavored, but it comes in other flavors, which are also called frozen lemonade. You are encouraged to mix the flavors. It is offensively sweet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eAwful Awful: This is a specific milkshake from a slowly crumbling diner empire called Newport Creamery. I remember when we moved to the state, it’s the first place we went. This milkshake is ice milk-based and goes down easy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eBubbler: You know a water fountain? That you drink from? Rhode Islanders call it a “bubbler” for absolutely no reason and it’s irritated me since I was a child.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eABOUT THE IDEA\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eInformation is more fun to read when it's beautiful. I've designed these charts and maps with hours of research, reassembling data into a brain-friendly aesthetic. I edit the information significantly, avoiding the \"dazzle\" effect which occurs when our eyes are battered with too much information. Letterpress makes it even more gorgeous.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eABOUT LETTERPRESS PRINTING\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eLetterpress is a very complicated and expensive printing method that I am obsessed with. All letterpress prints are slammed with 600 pounds of pressure, creating a deep, tactile texture. The ink gets embedded into the thick soft paper so it won't fade within your lifetime.
