Part of a series of half-sheet animal designs, this Barnyard Cow print is a historic restrike, or reprint, of the original wood block designed in the 1930's by Dallas artist Clyde Clack, initially as a means of teaching the craft of woodcarving to Depression-era technical school students. The designs became favorites, and recently, many of the original hand-carved wood blocks, some of which hadn't been printed in decades, were returned to Hatch Show Print.
